What are your operating hours?
We are open from 9.00am to 6.00pm (Mondays to Sundays) including public holidays.

How many days in advance should I place my order?
Kindly place your order online at least 5 working days in advance. Our sales representatives will email you an invoice as confirmation as soon as possible to confirm your order.

What is the minimum order capacity?
We can cater for all group sizes from 20 pax, 100 pax, 1,000 pax and more. There is no limit to our capabilities.

I may not be able to meet the minimum pax required, can I still proceed with my order with lower number of pax?
Unfortunately, you are not able to order online. For personalised advice, please give us a call, and our sales team will be happy to assist.

I want a customised menu. Is that possible?
Yes, it is possible. Please kindly email us at [email protected] or call/Whatsapp our number 8139 2788 to discuss further.

What is the difference between Buffet and Others (Mini Buffet, Bento Boxes and Packed Meals)?
Our buffet orders come with complete table setup, with skirting and warmers. There will be no setup involved for drop-off meals. Collection will be 3 hours from the time the buffet setup is completed or by 10.00pm, whichever is earlier. For Mini Buffet, Bento Boxes and Packed Meals, food will be served in food grade disposable containers. Drop-off meals require no setup.

I am unable to select my preferred time-slot upon placing my order on the website.
The time slot is most likely blocked online as it is full, or your selected date is less than 5 days before booking. Please email us at [email protected] or call/Whatsapp our number 8139 2788.

Am I still able to make changes after placing my order?
After confirmation, kindly reach out to our sales team, and they will make every effort to assist you with any necessary adjustments.

How long does the food last?
For Buffet, it is best consumed within 4 hours inclusive of an hour delivery in accordance with Singapore Food Agency’s guidelines. For Bento Boxes and Packed Meals, as food is served in disposable containers, it is best consumed within 2 hours upon delivery. Due to hygiene reasons, we do not provide containers for packing unfinished food. We shall not bear any responsibility for food consumed after the stipulated timeline.

How much space is needed for a buffet set-up?
One buffet line station (30 to 80 pax) is approximately 360cm in length by 74cm in width. Do advise on space availability while you place your order and we will try our best to accommodate as much as we can.

Can I rent additional logistics for my event?
Yes, our rental of additional logistics as follows, Rental of Stool @ $2.00/pc ($2.18 with GST). Rental of Extra Table with table cloth @ $35.00/set ($38.15 with GST).

What is your mode of payment?
Payment via Internet Banking / Funds Transfer / Paynow to UEN No.: 202341295G (Please indicate invoice number as Bill Reference number).
For payments made via Cheque, it must be crossed and addressed to “RICO CATERING PTE. LTD

Payment must be paid in full before delivery. We reserve the right to terminate service if payment is not fully received on time. Kindly note that for self-collection orders and orders delivered to non-permanent addresses (e.g. chalets/clubhouses), advance payment is required before the event date.

Delivery

What is the delivery time?
We deliver 365 days throughout the year. Our standard delivery timing is from 9am – 8pm. Other delivery timing can be arranged, subjected to availability with nominal charges applicable. The buffet collection will occur either 3 hours after the buffet setup is completed or by 10:00 PM, whichever comes earlier.

What are the delivery charges? We deliver island wide and our delivery charges differ based on your order.
● Buffet: Free delivery for $2000.00 and above before GST. Otherwise delivery charge at $90.00 ($98.10 with GST) per trip.
● Seminar: Delivery charge $120.00 ($130.80 with GST) per trip.
● Bento & Mini Buffet: Delivery charge at $50.00 ($54.50 with GST) per trip.
● Surcharges

    • Morning Surcharge for events before 8.30 am: $60.00 ($65.40 with GST)
    • Additional Surcharge: $20.00 ($21.80 with GST) (For CBD, Tuas, Sentosa

In the event of any cancellation or change of date for the order, a cancellation charge applies:
● 50% of the total spending with less than 5 working days of notification
● 100% of the total spending with less than 3 working days of notification

Kindly inform our sales representative if your venue do not have:
* Direct lift access
* Unloading area is a distance to the venue
* Challenging layout (for buffet setup)

Due to the logistics challenge, a surcharge will be imposed for delivery to venues with no lift landing. We apologise that we will not be able to deliver to any venues higher than level 4, without lift access. For further assistance, please contact our sales team for advice.

Is there extra charge for buffet late collection?
A surcharge of $100.00 ($109.00 with GST) for collection between 10.00pm to latest 11.00pm subjected to availability.
